Highlands family picnic
On the last Saturday afternoon of July we have our annual picnic.
4th of July Parade
Each year families of the Highlands gather on the 4th of July and parade altogether starting on Lakeview Road and go up Oakton, down Greenland, and back up Woodland.
Fishing Derby
A fun annual event for the Highlands is the Annual Fishing Derby. Kids of all ages participate and catch fish - big & small. Prizes are awarded for the biggest, the smallest and several other categories.
An Evening on the Louise
Every other or every third year the steamship, the "Louise" is rented for a sunset cruise on Lake Geneva. We are picked up at one of the Highland boat piers, cast off for an evening around the lake with cocktails & appetizers and then sit outside William's Bay as we watch fireworks from the William's Bay Pig & Corn Roast. If you have not yet joined us for one of these cruises watch for the next opportunity to purchase a ticket for a great evening on the lake with some of your friends & neighbors.
